Anticipation

What will it be to see The One we've never seen before?
And stand before God's Precious Son, in faith to walk no more.

Our eyes at last on Him will gaze; His glory we will share.
We'll worship Him with flawless praise, no sin to spoil it there!

With Him! With Him! At last we'll be and never more to part.
What bliss for all eternity: when Christ will fill our heart!

God's eternal peace and rest, never more a tear;
We'll be with Him who loved us best, what joy, what endless cheer!

It's only for ‘a little while': so soon, ... perhaps today!
The trump of God, His welcome smile; He'll call us hence away!
